Initially, it was five member team consisting of Karthik, Shraey Khanna, Rohit Singh, Himanshu Gola and Vishnu Sharma. Kartik and Sharey Khanna were the makers of the team and the rest three were their students. They became a team for the dance reality show Inida’s Dancing Superstar. Team MJ5 is named after the late King of Pop Michael Jackson. They are the Moonwalk Magicians. In India’s Dancing Superstar, whenever they performed, they mesmerized the public with their unbelievable and unique moonwalks. They have presented Michael Jackson’s signature step in many avatars and every time their moonwalks have metamorphosed into something new and better than before. They are the World record holders for 16 Variations of the moonwalk. Winning the India’s Dancing Superstar trophy was just the beginning of their incredible journey. Team MJ5 has added many feathers to its cap by winning many awards with their incredible performances. Top bollywood stars feel proud to share the stage with them. They are large number of followers on Social media sites and their YouTube channel is so much popular. They have been associated with Big Dance Centre even before their days of fame.
